Farm
Giants vs. Brewers
The Giants and the Brewers played a great game against each other last Saturday. Lukas Arellano, Grant Sellick, and Jack Hungerford led the Giants defensive plays. Once again, the Giants offense was hitting well . Lukas Arellano and Derek Whitworth led the Giants offensive attack. Noah Jamison and Nathan Reimer led the Brewers offense while Adam Moore and Jett Godi played sold defense.
Mets vs. Cubs
Jeffrey Priscaro was the hard hitter of the game consistently hitting up the middle! Trent Blackburn hit the ball hard each time he was up to bat! Brennan McDonell was another hard hitter throughout the game! Matthew Oler caught an infield fly making an excellent outfielder! Christian Rowland was a strong outfielder catching and throwing consistently to bases! Henry Loll made an excellent defensive play forcing a guy out on second!
The Mets had an excellent game even after a week off from spring break showing strong teamwork and excellent defensive plays! Each player hit hard and worked hard to bring teammates home!
Mets vs. Braves
Austin Nicolas was the hard hitter of the game winning the MVP! Michael Priscaro hit the ball hard every time he was up to bat! Christian Rowland was another hard hitter throughout the game! Timothy Pak was an excellent defensive player at second base! Benjamin MacKirdy made three excellent defensive plays in a row on third base! Henry Loll was a solid outfielder covering each ball and throwing hard to each baseman!
The Mets have come a long way with each player hitting hard and getting on base! The team spirit has consumed the boys to work hard and it shows with the teamwork they display on the field! Thanks to the awesome coaches Rick MacKirdy, Mark Priscaro, and Jeffrey Rowland the boys are proving they have learned a lot! |

Single A
Padres at Dodgers
Michael Crandall had his best game of the year for the Dodgers with 5 hits and 3 RBIs. JT Fulmer added two singles and a double to help the cause. Allan Ard made things hard for the Padres on the base paths and scored two runs for the home team. Aidan Dougherty made a spectacular play in right field to get the runner at 1st base. The play of the game came in the 4th inning when Ben Wold hustled into the outfield from 3rd base to chase down a ball, gunned it in to 2nd base for an out with JT able to hang onto the ball and make the tag when the runner tried to run out a double.
A great way to pick up after the break. The fielding is really starting to improve. Way to go Dodgers!
Dodgers at Pirates
The Dodgers had another good outing this Saturday. Logan Seitz went 2-3 and scored 2 runs for the visitors. Ryan Haley had a good day at the plate going 3 for 3. Gio Cerutti hit three singles and scored twice for the Dodgers. Ben Wold made the defensive play of the game for us again at shortstop stopping a grounder, tagging 2nd and making a great throw to 1st base, just missing the double play.
The Dodger bats are starting to warm up and the kids are really playing some good baseball! |
