Challengers Division

The Challengers Division provides a safe place for kids ages 5 to 21 who may have physical or mental challenges to come out and enjoy the game of Little League baseball. Pleasanton National is Pleasanton's home town team and our coordinator is Coach Dan Sweeney. Each spring, a team of boys and girls get together and play games at the Dublin Sports Park with other local Challenger teams from the east bay area to make it an afternoon they won't forget. The season is typically from late March and finishing up with the Annual Challenger Jamboree.

We also have a buddy program set up for AAA and Major teams to come and be a buddy with each Challenger team member. Assisting with batting, base running, fielding and the biggest skill - ENCOURAGEMENT for our Challenger team.

Challenger Jamboree

The 6th Annual Challenger Jamboree is scheduled for May 28th - 30th, 2010. Teams from all over California come up to the Bay Area (host is Dublin Little League) and play on their fields. Local hotel, restaurants, and activities are all organized and planned for the teams. Much help is required to pull off an event of this size.
